Devotional

Many insecurities grow because we become trapped in fear of people's opinions. The fear of man asks, "What will they think?" Faith asks, "What is God asking of me?" Living for God's approval brings freedom and allows us to love others without band allows led by their acceptance or rejection. When your heart is anchored in pleasing Christ, the opinions of people lose their power to define you.

• Whose opinion do I fear the most?

• How has that fear influenced my decisions?

• What step of obedience is God inviting me to take?

Walking in Truth

Take one step of obedience today, even if it feels uncomfortable.

Prayer

Father,

Free me from the fear of people. Give me courage to obey You even when it is difficult.
