Weekly Focus

Now that the lies have begun to lose their grip, it is time to fill those empty places with God's truth.

God never removes something without offering something better in its place. As He tears down false beliefs, He lovingly establishes your true identity as His child.

Your identity is not something you have to earn or discover through accomplishments. It is a gift that was secured through the finished work of Jesus Christ. You are chosen, loved, forgiven, accepted, and created with purpose—not because of what you have done, but because of who He is. You are learning to see yourself the way your Heavenly Father has always seen you.

Opening Prayer

Father,

Thank You for calling me Your child. Forgive me for allowing the opinions of others, my past experiences, and my own failures to shape how I see myself. Teach me to see myself through Your eyes. Help me believe what You say about me more than what I feel about myself. May my confidence grow, not because I trust myself more, but because I trust You more.

Walking in Truth

This week, allow God's Word to become the loudest voice in your life. As His truth takes root in your heart, confidence will begin to replace insecurity, peace will replace striving, and freedom will become your new foundation.

Devotional

One of insecurity's greatest fears is rejection. Many people spend their lives trying to be accepted because somewhere along the way they experienced rejection. But before anyone accepted you...God chose you.

Before you accomplished anything... God chose you. Before you failed...God chose you. Before you were born...God chose you. Your worth is not based on who chooses you. It is based on the One who already has.

When you know you are chosen by God, you no longer have to compete for the approval of people.

• Where have I looked for acceptance?

• How has rejection shaped me?

• Do I believe God truly wanted me?

• What changes if I believe I have always been chosen by Him?

Prayer

Father,

Thank You for choosing me long before I ever chose You. Before I took my first breath, You knew me, loved me, and called me according to Your purpose.

Forgive me for the times I have sought acceptance from people instead of resting in the security of being chosen by You. Heal every wound of rejection and every place where I have questioned my value.

Help me to live each day with the confidence that I belong to You. May my identity be rooted in Your love rather than in the opinions or approval of others.

Teach me to walk as Your beloved child, secure in the knowledge that I have been chosen for a purpose and created for Your glory.

Holy Spirit remind me today that I am never forgotten, never overlooked, and never alone.
