Devotional

Real transformation is God's work. Sometimes we become discouraged because we don't see immediate change. We expect instant freedom, yet God often works through a lifelong process of renewing our minds and shaping our hearts. The fact that you're growing—even slowly—is evidence that God is still at work. Don't confuse "not finished" with "not changing."

God is faithful and He finishes what He starts.

Reflection

• Where have I become discouraged in my spiritual growth?

• Have I expected perfection instead of progress?

• What evidence have I seen that God is changing me?

Prayer

Father,

Thank You that You have not given up on me. Strengthen my faith to trust Your process even when I cannot yet see the finished work and help me surrender each day to the transforming work of Your Holy Spirit.
