Failure is an event. It is not an identity. Every believer experiences setbacks just as Peter when he denied Jesus. Thomas doubted, Moses made excuses yet God continued using each of them. God isn't looking for perfect people. He is looking for surrendered hearts and every time you fall, His grace invites you to stand again.

• Where have I labeled myself a failure?

• How is afraid of failure kept me from obeying God?

• What step of faith is God inviting me to take?

Prayer

Father,

Help me stop defining myself by my failures. Thank You that Your grace is greater than my weakness. Give me courage to get up again and continue following You.
